Stretching north from the center of the city, up to the 280, west towards Loachapoka, and east to Gateway Dr., North Auburn is a largely residential area that offers up more space and bigger homes than you’d find in central Auburn.
Looking for an upscale apartment complex that’s heavy on the amenities? You’ll find it here. A single-family ranch style home with a big yard? You’ll find it in North Auburn. The area itself encompasses three prominent parks, including Sam Harris Park. There are also plenty of eateries to experience in this family-friendly locale, from New York style pizza to classic barbecue.
The southern edge of North Auburn practically rests on the city center, so while you might enjoy the suburban feel of the area, the conveniences of the city are never more than just a few minutes away.

Property Ratings at Yugo Auburn North
They have lied to hundreds of people moving in about the state of their apartments, and they have not made any effort to compensate people for the days that they are FORCED to sleep elsewhere. The apartments are disgusting, management is slow to do anything, and there is absolutely no communication between management and tenants. I have called a total of 20 times trying to get a hold of a person, once even while i was on the property to see if anyone would pick up, and despite the phone ringing, my call was not picked up.
My apartment flooded in the laundry room they haven’t replaced molded ceiling. Maintenance is bad.
My unit's dryer has been broken for two months. The management staff is rude and entirely unhelpful. Maintenance told me they were waiting on a new part for our dryer, then proceeded to fix the machine with a used part. When the used part stopped working, they said they were going to put in a new part the next day. It has been two days and no one has come fix it. When I called management to ask when maintenance would come, I was met with a rude manager who stated they would "be in tomorrow". Communication is horrible, the amenities never work, this place is horrible. Do NOT lease from Yugo.
No email response (been waiting 2 weeks), only answering machines, no one at the property office to talk to. What horrible customer service
We rented an apartment here for my Son. Worst place ever! Do not waste your money or time. The on-site management was very difficult to deal with and could care less.
Bodily fluids and urine on walls and in the carpet. Toilets and bathroom never clean..wasted material still in toliet. Holes in walls, broken doors, common area a wreck. Children smoking weed on deck....parents beware what they us; show model and sales pitch sales is not reality . Property management disengaged!!!!!! The air filter were missing and vent cover was caked with a sticky residue of moldy dust. This is a heath inspector bad dream. The outside has siding falling off with leads to the question are they growing black mold in the walls. They need to clean up. I wish I could have found another place for my children to live in This was a huge mistake.
I lived at Copper Beech for two years. Overall, my experience was good. The floor plans are very spacious. I lived in a 4 bedroom apartment right up against the woods. New management has recently taken over and they have been great. There were some issues with roaches and spiders; however, pest control took care of it as quickly as possible. The one complaint I have is against the maintenance staff. Though they were very friendly and were able to fix all our issues, they are very understaffed. Some times it would take days or weeks for them to fix a problem (which was incredibly frustrating when our air conditioning went out in August). On the upside, after the first year, your rent drops dramatically if you renew for a second year. I would definitely recommend Copper Beech.
Copper Beech offers much in the way of amenities and looks very good on the surface. However, after living here for a year, I would recommend looking elsewhere if options are available. Several recurring issues have caused this opinion to form. In my experience, the employees in the front office are disorganized and sometimes outright rude. This also affects pool security during the warmer months of the year. The front doors to the pool are always unlocked and management typically lets anyone through to enjoy the pool without establishing whether or not they are a resident. This wouldn't be as big of an issue if residents did not have to pay a hefty community fee to use the same amenities others are getting for free. The maintenance staff is friendly but also disorganized. In our unit, the front floorboard has been rotting all spring and poses a serious safety risk. Maintenance staff were notified of this issue months ago and still nothing has been done to repair the floorboard. Also, the mailboxes are outdoors and not watertight. Any mail in your box during a rain event will most likely be soaked and ruined. Overall, these issues have turned into recurring problems. While Copper Beech does offer spacious floor plans and nice amenities, the headaches caused by reasons such as those listed above lead me to recommend alternative living arrangements if that is an option.
Let me warn everyone who is looking for any type of apartment to stay away from this place! I'll list the reasons for such a terrible rating below: 1) Management - Is the worst I have ever seen anywhere around here. They will lie to you and promise things to be done. If you have roommate issues, then you are on your own. They will tell you to go to the police and file a report which doesn't do anything. Stealing from roommates is allowed! The owner will also not care about what happens. When they mess up payments because they do not have auto-withdrawal, they will blame you for it. The assistant-manager there chastised me when I got their "red" slip saying I was late on payment and I was fined for being late. When I spoke with her, she said its on my end and no hers. She continued to argue for 5 minutes before checking with the manager to find out it was their fault. 2) Housing - Its a nice work out to go up 3 flights of steps when you want to get to your room. The walls are super thin all around. If you live on the bottom, you will be able to hear everything that happens above you. Cock-roaches are common in these houses. Pest control comes out once a week but they need someone else. I had to call 5 times to get constant problems fixed. Anything left out in the apartment will be consumed by ants. Give ants 24 hours and they will find whatever food/crumbs you leave out. 3) Maintenance - Is pretty decent and they do fix issues. The only issue I saw that happened was someone destroyed the front stairs to the house and it took 4 months before they fixed it. The people at the house were required to walk around the house to get inside. They left it taped off for that long! 4) Landscape/Exterior - You can tell a lot on the kind of people that live their by how the landscape is kept. Beer bottles (can and glass) are all around. They are solemnly picked up but not the broken glass. The parking spot lines are almost completely faded. Except people to park wide. The mail box area is the most dangerous area. At night, the lights around the area and along to road are out and CBH refuses to get them replaced. They claim it's the utility companies job but guess what?? They never call them. I spent weeks going back and forth trying to get this fixed because the lights that are out there are too dangerous because you cant see people walking to get their mail at night!
Currently I am living in copper beech in auburn al. I enjoy living in cb, always getting a workout just to go to the kitchen or to do laundry. But unfortunately with prices rising and my paycheck not we have to move. No one should have to leave the beech
I have lived at Copper Beech in Auburn since they opened 5 years ago! The staff has always gone out of their way to accommodate my move ins and outs. They are willing to help you in any way possible. The maintence staff is also very friendly and prompt. Copper Beech does an excellent job of notifying residents of maintence checks and will give a 48 hour notice if they intend to enter your apartment. They also offer numerous activities throughout the year such as free meals, and mechanical bull parties at the pool! I throughly enjoy living at Copper Beech and never want to leave! Their property manager Suzi is the nicest woman I've ever met!
