Property Ratings at Yugo Lexington Campus Court
I lived here for two years and first off they never gave me a 24 notice they walked in to do a inspection with no notice and everything was a mess. And secondly I request no maintenance in my house when I needed something fixed and he just unlocked my door and walked in when I was just about to take a shower. Thirdly I had a snake in my bathroom and I went to the office none was there I texted none answered and then I told one of the maintenance guys on campus that I have a snake in my bathroom and he said he will speak to his supervisor and never came back and lastly my roommate ordered stuff from Amazon and we went to the office to pick the stuff up the girl said “sorry we dont have anything in that name” went back home came back to the office because says it was dropped off there and then another girl said she will check if the packages are there and what do you know they are! A lot of them she said well she might of not checked because they are on the top shelf”. So that means when I ordered things and it said it was delivered and I asked they just didn’t feel like checking.so it was awful living there wouldn’t recommend!!
I've lived here for 3 years and loved it in the beginning. Now it is just awful. They have left so many messes in my apartment to "fix" things and have entered without notice numerous times. Times that have technically violated my lease. Now for the office staff. When I first moved here LOVED THEM. Now? Awful. Except Keirra, she's so helpful and attentive, as well as always a friendly face to have in the office. Good to have someone in there who is pleasant
This is a great location, close enough to red mile to hear it. Lots of options. Keirra is a lot of help with all of my leasing questions.
Had a wonderful showing with Makenna. This started from the initial phone call, to us signing the lease. She went above and beyond the tour. The property is well maintained. You can see that the staff takes pride in working there. I have to say that she brings a smile to my family's face every time we see her in the office.
I’ve been a resident here at campus court for the past year and I love it! My leasing agent Peyton made the process super easy for me and the rest of the staff is always very friendly and helpful anytime I’ve had a question. They have doggie pool party’s, an indoor basketball court, reserved parking for guests! And best of all the community here is inviting and safe. Best apartment I’ve had! 10/10 would recommend.
My daughter lives there and she loves it. Shelby helped us with finding the perfect place for our daughter and we feel safe with having her there.
The location is perfect for students. There is a bus stop right outside the complex. It is fairly quiet and well kept. The leasing process from tour to move-in easy easy. MaKenna in the office is really easy to work with and very helpful.
This is genuinely the WORST place that someone can live. It is unsafe. Multiple drug dealers live here. There are regular shootings. Absolutely no security, no cameras, and no help from employees when your car gets broken into. There are car break ins every single night and nothing done to prevent them. They do not clean the apartments after someone moves out. When I moved in, there was black mold in all the bathrooms and a brown sticky substance on all of my walls that I had to scrub for hours to get off. Maintenance doesn't exist and if they do come they literally will not do anything. I didn't have working AC all YEAR and when maintenance finally came by, they told me that the complex did not install big enough units for the apartment so they couldn't do anything about it. I cannot stress how TERRIBLE this place is. PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE!!
Well as resident living at the Campus courts currently, I think that it would only be right for the people to know what they're getting themselves into....... there are plenty of reasons to backup why I feel this way about this apt. They are very bad abut reacting to things when needing to be fixed ASAP including AIR conditioning, dish washer, microwave. Washer and dryer hardly even work half of the time. etc. overall this is just a bad community and complete nonsense. highly advise no one suggest living at Campus Courts.

It took about 1 week for me to get my bike vandalized right outside my apartment, aaaand they did nothing. Tons of crime, literally everything is broken, gross worn down, clogged, falling apart, everything is just plain gross. No parking, internet constantly crashes, and absolute nightmare.

I love living at Campus Court, it’s close enough to campus so I don’t have to drive; but far enough away I don’t have to deal with loud parties or students. Maintenance is pretty fast at repairs when you put in your request. My only complaint is the townhomes don’t have a lot of cabinet space, but we make it work! 12205

This by far has been the worst place I have ever rented from, even under their 'new management.' On my official move-in date, the apartment hadn't even been cleaned. They moved in other roommates without informing me beforehand and didn't even apologize because "in the lease they aren't required to notify." Management was rude and didn't even try to help solve problems that were caused because of their lack of organization and carelessness. Other residents I've talked to have had similar experiences with the new management. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live, I can assure you it will be a better experience.
I signed up for autopay, they didn’t randomly charge me on the first one month, and then automatically withdrew my rent with a late fee. Never answer phone calls or respond to voice mail messages. Washer and dryer were tiny, rips in my living room furniture when I moved in. Car broken into multiple times. Roommates car was towed despite having parking pass. Lots of problems.
Terrible management. No matter how many hands the complex passes through, terrible management always ensues. It seems like for the past year or so they have been training their employees to be rude and unhelpful. Apartments.com says they have 7 5-star reviews, but there are probably 7 reviews and have only seen one 5-star review. They only consideration you should give this place is if you will never have to interact with the management and office staff. This place would be a lovely place if they were not a part of it.
Campus Court is under new management and the new leaders of the property are amazing! I can say from personal experience that they are putting their hearts into their new positions. I have been a resident since fall 2016 and ever since Joy and Tiffany starting working at Campus Court this spring, they made me feel like a valued resident. A valued resident who is not only cared about, but whose experience as a member of the Campus Court community matters. They worked one on one with me and went above and beyond to help secure my apartment for another semester. For someone who is from upstate New York, Campus Court truly feels like a home away from home! I will recommend Campus Court to anyone who is looking for safe and nice housing in Lexington! I truly love it here and grateful for Joy and Tiffany!
The staff of campus courts gives out incorrect information. They will verbally tell you one thing and turn around the next day and say something different. They have the option of qualifying an tenant based on financial aid. Now sometimes your financial aid may not come early especially if your a new student to the campus and Campus Court will try to evict you because you haven’t got your financial aid. The office staff is very very RUDE!!! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!! They have HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!!! If you continue to talk to them and back them into a corner because they told you something different they will hang up on you! The staff is not a well educated staff at all.
Don't rent here under any circumstances. Unfortunately we renewed, the deciding factor being ease and a $400 rent concession. Leasing staff assured us we'd get it in August, because it would be our first full month, the start of our lease being in July. This was written plainly in the lease. When it wasn't applied in the office a leasing agent said "we can't and won't give it to you until september." I kept repeating that we where told we'd get in august and planned financially, and that it was clearly in the lease. The staff member said "it doesn't matter what your lease said, we're not giving it to you. You can call corporate so they can tell you no, too." Eventually in the process of try to get in contact with corporate the manager wrote a rude email stating that she'd give us the credit since it was in the lease, but it was her right to withhold it as long as she wanted. She also said that we approached her staff wrong and that it was our faults we were told no, that we didn't communicate the problem correctly. We should have know not to renew, because we had the same issue with a lie about a rent credit being gave in august. Plus, the apartment was filthy, and we brought it up the manager said "No, it's not. I have a system, it's clean. If you want I can put you on the list for a cleaner, though. It'll be 6 weeks."
Hopefully this gets to you before making the horrible decision of leasing From Campus Court at Red Mile. The management at this institution is horrendous. They are disrespectful, non cooperating and disengaged from the community. Any service request could take up to three months (as it did in my first occurrence) to have fixed. The "free wifi" is given to you for a total of three devices that must be set up and is temperamental at best. The amenities are only available currently while the staff is in the office, meaning the gym/basketball court/"game" room/ tanning beds are available for 3 hours Sunday, a handful of hours Saturday and they open late and close early every other day of the week. I was promised multiple things when originally moved in, things that were then told to me that would not happen and the people who had told me had been fired..... as their staff (other then management) is exchanged out every few months like clockwork. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
DON'T RENT HERE! They wont fix damages cause by previous tenants and charge you outrageous fees on move out for "damages!" They billed me $105 for damages documented on move in that they NEVER fixed even after numerous requests and damages they have NO documentation for! On top of that what they report as damages is so little they're making PROFIT of the charges which is totally ILLEGAL! DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE! BUY A TENT! IT'S MUCH MORE WORTH IT!
The rent is pretty high, but it includes cable and wifi, also HBO and on demand. I love not having to worry about paying that. The cabinets are outdated and it can take a while to get maintenance on appliances, but they're really quick about air conditioning and things like that. The walls are kind of thin. They do allow double occupancy which is hard to find in campus apartments.
Really spacious rooms! One of the largest student apartment bedrooms around UKs campus. Definitely recommend it!
