Property Ratings at Zang Triangle
New people in the office every year. Consistent car break in’s. Active shooter last year. Rents still go up. Quality since this year has gone way down.
I have lived here a short time but I am very happy with the property. It is well maintained the amenities are top notch. The staff is always friendly and professional.
I love living here. The staff is so nice and grounds always look so pretty. They always have fun resident events EVERY month. The last place I lived at only did events twice a year. The area is up an coming and the park across the street is so perfect for taking my dog for a walk. The communication is GREAT here! They enforce the rules which is a huge plus!! I look forward to renewing for another or or two.
Matthew and Rachel in the leasing office are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Maintenance has always resolved issues within 24 to 48 hours. The Dart streetcar station is in front of the apartment building with easy access to the reunion tower and bishop arts. Overall a nice place to live.
The property is nice but the leasing are always handing out wrong information & are so unprofessional they let anybody work there. I was misinformed a handful of times about costly situations don't speak with Lisa or Irene they both have no idea what they are doing. During move in they gave me the wrong price and after move out I was charged fees stating there was damaged in the living room carpet THERE IS NO CARPET IN THE LIVING ROOM! So I called and Lisa told me they had to replace planks in the floor first off I'm not a scientist that knows floor foundation I'm a 22 yr old girl and at that of course I said nothing was wrong on the checklist because it said "LIVING ROOM CARPET". The day I turned in the keys I told Irene how I had my TV mounted to the wall and if I had to fill in the holes she told me as long as it wasn't anchored it's okay but then I check on the final statement and I got charged for holes in the wall! After she told me to leave it like that. So I asked Lisa why I was being charged when I was told not to fill in the holes Lisa told me if it's bigger than a nail hole there would be a charge. Irene gave me the wrong information and I had to pay for her mistakes. Lisa told me that she would speak with her but there was nothing she could do about the false information Lisa told me. Let me remind you I was willing to fill in the holes but Irene told me not to unless it was anchored and it wasn't! This isn't the first time they've given me wrong information! YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THERE MISTAKES AND ITS NOT CHEAP. I would look somewhere else for an apartment the staff here is so unprofessional!
Pros: it's quiet the pool isn't too crazy you can park on your floor. pretty easy access to all parts of town without being too assessible to strangers. The gates always work to the garage, so strangers don't park in residential parking. Has alot of covered vistor parking. Inside the aparment is nice. Granite it the only stand out feature Only Cons: It's not rare when one of the 2 elevators need repair. Construction on the garage has made residential parking slightly congested, but i've always found a spot close to my floor
I've lived at Zang Triangle for 10 months now and all in all, I've been very pleased. They're under new management and the office staff are much more friendly and helpful than the last group who staffed the office. Let's start with the good: Great location in Oak Cliff. Minutes from downtown Dallas and a very short drive to Bishop Arts. On-site storage rooms available for rent. Secured deck parking access controlled with a sticker affixed to your windshield. You also park on a level that corresponds to level of your apartment. Energy efficient AC and seems the be well insulated. Maintenance staff are FAST, friendly, and competent. The few requests I've submitted have always been taken care of in less than 24 hours. Extremely friendly. Lately the management have been doing more nice things for tenants: doggy nail trims, food trucks, ice cream socials, etc. Recently improved dog park. Installed turf and a water fountain for the dogs. Fitness center is small but adequate. Now for a few unpleasantries: Noise level of tenant above you. Can hear them walking on the hardwoods when your tv isn't loud. Packages: when I moved in the leasing office would sign and accept your FedEx, UPS, and USPS packages. After new management, they no longer accept/sign for packages. Parking Deck can get a little crowded at night. I pay for a reserved spot ($35 extra per month) and a few times someone else feels it belongs to them. It is always AFTER the office has closed and I have had no lluck getting them towed from my spot. Landscaping (other than by leasing office) leaves a little to be desired. Mostly drab green plants without color. Washer/dryers come with the unit (great if you don't have one) but they will not remove them from the unit if you have your own. So you will have to pay storage or sell yours. Bottom line - if you're looking for an apartment in a neighborhood with character (not uptown), close to downtown, and near local business this is the place for you. Office staff are doing the best they can. Great location and ATT Uverse is available here. Unless rent just goes through the roof, I plan on renewing my lease.
