Step inside and be greeted by stunning sound views, complemented by an open-concept layout designed for seamless entertaining of large groups up to 15 guests. The great room features a cozy electric fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, and wall-to-wall water views, creating an inviting space for gathering and relaxation. The fully stocked kitchen includes a blender, drip coffee machine with grinder, Keurig machine, cake mixer, pots, pans, oven, serving trays, crockpot, rice maker, dishwasher, toaster, toaster oven, oven, stove, and refrigerator with filtered drinking water and ice maker. Dining and entertaining spaces include a dining table with seating for up to 10 guests, a spacious kitchen island, a built-in breakfast nook with seating for 6, and an enclosed patio area ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails while overlooking breathtaking sound sunsets. We welcome dogs only for a fee of $150 per pet per stay, with a maximum of 3 dogs each weighing up to 50 lbs. A pet fee will be applied to cover the cleaning of pet hair, and if any waste beyond hair is found, an additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged. Cleaning up after your pet is your responsibility, and pets should not be left unattended in the home. No dogs are allowed in the pool. Additional pet fees will be processed through our guest portal after your reservation is confirmed. The pool heater requires a daily fee of $100 plus tax, and must be booked and paid for the duration of your stay. The pool is closed and covered seasonally from November to March. The use of the hot tub is included in your nightly rate with no additional charge. Located in a prime Outer Banks location, this home offers a peaceful coastal retreat with breathtaking sound views. Enjoy a short walk or drive to Downtown Duck, where you can explore charming shops, delicious restaurants, and the famous Duck Boardwalk with stunning Currituck Sound views. Easy beach access allows you to enjoy the pristine sands and refreshing ocean breeze just moments away. Close to top attractions such as the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Kitty Hawk Pier, and local nature trails, and offering nearby water activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, and fishing, this location is perfect for families, groups, and couples looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. Duck is home to midges, tiny seasonal bugs that are harmless and do not bite, but they can appear in large numbers. To keep them out, we recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible and turning off outdoor lights at night, as light attracts them. We regularly treat the area, but they may still be present outdoors. Bug spray is a great idea for enjoying the deck and pool areas. Additionally, snakes from the nearby marsh can occasionally be spotted. If you see one on the property, contact us immediately, and we will arrange for animal control to remove it. Duck Blind shares driveway access with a neighboring property, so guests are asked to park in the designated driveway closest to the home and to be respectful of neighbors. Enjoy full access to the entire property during your stay. For a seamless check-in experience, a secure door code is provided, allowing you to arrive and settle in at your convenience. Fast Wi-Fi is available to keep you connected with ease, making it convenient for remote work or staying in touch with loved ones.
