Section 8 Applicants o Section 8 applicants must provide a copy of their TNQ Rent Burden Worksheet to verify the portion covered by HUD and the amount required from the tenant. o Section 8 applicants are exempt from the 3x income requirement but must meet all other application criteria. 3. Rental History o No rental judgments or evictions within the past three (3) years. o Current rental standing with the landlord and previous rental history will be reviewed. o Applicants with eviction history must provide an explanation and supporting documentation. 4. Utilities o Applicants must be able to establish utilities in their name. o Provide the following: - A copy of a current residential utility bill. - A letter from MLGW confirming good standing. 5. Criminal Background Check o Criminal backgrounds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 6. Application for All Occupants o All individuals over the age of 18 residing on the property must apply and be listed on the lease. We welcome Section 8 Vouchers and other rental assistance.
