I had several issues at this apartment complex: - I'd constantly see roaches in my apartment although I always kept it clean, so it was clearly a problem with the apartment complex - When I renewed for a second year, they were supposed to give me $200 off starting the renewal. Although they did give me the $200 I had to fight for about 2-3 months to get the $200 credit. - There was a break in in the apartment below mine. - There were car break ins too. - When getting my deposit back one of the charges was categorized as "other". I called to see what this charge was for and they simply did not give me an answer. The only thing worth 5 stars in that place is maintenance. Shout-out to the maintenance guys because they would always fix any problems quickly

Don’t believe these reviews on this site. Check more than one sites reviews of somewhere you will have to call home. Do your research. Some of these reviews are lies and some not. I was a real resident here and if I could give no stars I would. Roaches, no/slow repairs, rude office manager, office holding packages hostage and making up their own rules on the fly to justify their behavior, mold, oh did I mention ROACHES!! And then to top it off our rent went up over $600 for the month after giving notice to vacate with no notice. Just my warning my advice do your research. I just moved on feeling and have been regretting it. We’ve only been here one year and it’s time to go

I have lived here for a little over a year, and so far I have been a fan of this place. Melissa and the office staff that I have interacted with are always receptive and propt in responding to any issues. They always give a heads up on water shut offs, and other updates. Maintanence seems to be pretty quick on problems. We have no issue with pests in our unit whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex.

We lived here from 2015-2016 and thought it was okay. We moved back in early 2019 to "save money", but rent is now comparable to what we paid at a much nicer (albeit, smaller) place in Midtown, with no improvements or anything to show for. Back in 2015 management was responsive and price was reasonable; parking sucked, but that actually got better, and since it's technically within the loop, it felt like a good deal. I don't know what's going on at the leasing office, but they are not on their A game. Buildings are fairly run down (our apartment is literally crooked), appliances are loud, the lights dim anytime we use the microwave. Heating and air don't circulate to one end of the apartment, so there's a bedroom that is basically uninhabitable in the summer. Like I said, rent is going up (which is normal) but there's no added amenities, you don't get new carpeting when you move in, part of the gate collapsed months ago and it still hasn't been fixed... It simply isn't worth it anymore.
I have lived here since 2008. There is no better place to live. The leasing office staff is engaging and friendly. The maintenance staff is extremely responsive ( they responded to a call I made at 4am) and the other tenants are nice and quiet. What more can a long time renter ask for.
I really like this apartment complex. I recently moved in and there were a couple of minor issues that needed to be addressed. Marqus came by and resolved all of my concerns and he was such a polite and professional young man. He just made me feel that he cared about his work and more importantly, let me know that it was important that I felt 100% satisfied with my new home. I highly recommend this complex.
I moved into 7100 Almeda back in Aug of 2017. I appreciated that they had really flexible lease terms and opted for a short lease, 8 months to see how I would like it. I end up 8 months later resigning a 15 month lease. I really like that on the first floor there is a non carpet option. Jennifer always greets me with a smile and knows me by name. Megan worked diligently to help me with my renewal as well as addressing any issues I had with parking and Kathy has gone so far as to find me someone to clean my unit!!!! The staff at 7100 Almeda has made my stay here very pleasant. They all are quick to responds to needs and always friendly!
We had mold in our bedroom for about a year and they didn't even let us terminate our contract easily. the window was leaking before the hurricane and there was water entering the bedroom for about 10 days. There was other leakage on the wall of the bedroom and we suffered a lot until we could convince them. At the end, after a year, they measured it and it turned out to be serious mold! We threw away most of our staff in the bedroom and wanted to get out of the contract. They let us go and didn't accept to pay for compensation. After 2 weeks sent us the bill although they had accepted to get us out of contract without termination fee. If I could attach videos and photos you would see how serious it was. Anything about maintenance would at least take one months and several notices until it gets fixed! If you wanna argue a lot about your simple rights choose this complex to suffer!
After I signed the contract, they told me I have no credit established and I have to pay NON REFUNDABLE credit risk fee of 250$. Before the application I'm told that I have no credit history and I need to give bank statement. I gave them my bank statement and they said it's OK. I asked them several times whether there was additional fee. They NEVER mentioned it. They told me there was nothing additional. And now I want to cancel contract because they didn't approve it and I can not move in, They said that I can not take back my deposit. Even I couldn't see the room. I offered to increase the amount of deposit but they insistently want NON REFUNDABLE money. It doesn't make sense. Are they doing this because we're international student? Is there any authorized person or customer service that can fix this unpleasant situation?
I visited the property and got a rate for an apartment. The next day I came in with the Application form and the money and they increased the price they had told me the day before without any notice. After I had already signed, turned in everything and left the apartment complex, they call me saying there is a $200 fee per month they had NEVER mentioned before. They wasted my time, money and patience and the only thing they said to me was I am sorry. Totally not acceptable, if they are like this with potential clients I cannot even imagine how they are with residents that are tied up with a contract!
These apartments are very very small for the amount you pay in rent. i lived in a unit for 10 months and couldn't wait to get out!!
