Very expensive for what you (don't) get

My husband and I lived at Bella Vista for almost three years. We were overall happy, and the apartments themselves are well-arranged with newer appliances. The management could use some customer service overhaul. The property is managed by MG Properties, a much larger corporation, so there is very little in the way of personal touches or the like. They are not very friendly and are sluggish to respond. The amenities, such as the pool, fitness center, business center, and clubhouse have been unavailable since March 2020, but there has been no change in rent or any type of credit to reflect this. Several cars had their windows shot out in 2019, with the getaway car destroying the back gate, and management was not open about the situation. We had to find out through the news and word of mouth. Additionally, as other reviews mention, parking is extremely limited as parents and people who visit the park frequently take up spots inside the complex because although there is a coded gate, it is often left open throughout the day and weekends. There is no monitoring to ensure only residents are parked inside. Just a very blah place to live and we are happy to have moved out.

False Sense of security

My Car and my wife's car keeps getting broken into because there is not enough parking spots. There has been approximately 25car break ins in the last 6 weeks. A few even inside the gate. Front gate is always broken, too so I do not feel safe at all anymore. Security cameras dont work either, plus there is a security car that drives around and they are unable to stop the break ins on their property. We have 3 adults that live in our apartment and only allowed one parking spot, most residents park on the street where cars constantly get broken into. Mold on the windows inside apartments and the paint actually washes off the doors and windows. This place seemed nice to move into but after living here for 6 months, we wish we found a better place. Would not recommend this place at all.

Bella Vista Apartments

I love this place!! My boyfriend and I called them to look into possibly finding out if they still had any apartments available and the woman I spoke to on the phone says, "Yes, we have several one bedrooms still available! Which one were you looking at?" I explained that I liked the unit on the third floor and she says, "Yep, it looks like it's still available! Why don't you come visit us? Are you available today or tomorrow?" And I was just blown away. Every other apartment complex we have called recently had outdated information on their own websites. "Oh, that should have been taken down two weeks ago," with no kind of apology whatsoever. So, Shirley I believe her name was, informed us that she personally wouldn't be there to help us but there would be someone in the office to help us with whatever we needed. When we showed up, Kristen was with another couple so we waited. She seemed very nice and helpful when talking to them. She called us over and took some info from us, informing us that the system didn't show we had an appointment but it DID show that I'd called earlier. Not a word was said about the lack of appointment after that. She helped us just as if there hadn't been any kind of problem. She showed us photos of a one bedroom since she didn't have a vacant one to show us, then took us on a tour of a two bedroom, doing her very best to explain the size and layout difference to us. She was extremely helpful and personable, giving us any info we asked for or needed. She even told us about deals on nice mattresses since we're looking to get a bigger one before we move. The complex is super clean and beautiful and they have tons of space for people to have friends over in common areas. The pool is gorgeous and they have lots of grills for events. The apartments themselves are clean and updated and the one we saw was nice and spacious with plenty of storage. I am SO impressed with Kristen (I really hope I'm spelling her name right) and all of her help. We were approved for an apartment before we even left the complex and she made sure to get us that information as soon as possible instead of making us wait like all the other apartment complexes seemed to like to do. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Even if it's not the place for you, Kristen was also giving a young woman recommendations to other complexes that might suit her needs better.

Bella vista

I moved to Elk Grove about 6 months ago! I love these apartments. The management team is amazing. Every time I've had an issue they fixed it right away. I'm happy to be living here!
