I loved my time here. The apartment was beautiful with all of the amenities I require, and a walk-in closet to boot. We tried not to be a bother, but the few times we needed maintenance they were hot to trot; you could put in a mtx request at 455 and they'd call to ask if you needed them then or if it could wait til morning, and sure as heck the next morning before the office opened they'd be knocking at your door. The only thing I'd say--and it's not a big enough deal that I'd take away a star--is I wish the apartments had hardwood floors. We got our puppy in the middle of a wet winter and she tracked paw prints all over the carpet, but we got a partial deposit back. When the time comes that we start apartment hunting again, we'll be giving them a call. We'll just invest in a good outdoor rug.

I absolutely loved my apartment and the entire community. Since the complex is so close to the AFB there are a lot of military people living in the complex, which made me feel very safe as a woman living alone. My washer broke at one point, and the very next day they brought me a brand new one and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I had an amazing view, especially in the winter. They maintain the grounds very nicely, and plow frequently in the winter. If trains going by bothers you, it may not be the place for you, but I personally really enjoy seeing and hearing the trains going by. If I wasn’t moving out of state, I definitely would not be giving up my apartment at Canyon Bluffs!

I lived at Canyon Bluffs for 18 months and I had a great experience here. Every time we put in a maintenance request it was fixed within 48 hours. The staff was always kind and willing to answer questions. The staff was constantly maintaining the grounds and making improvements in the club house. My only complaints are that the walls were somewhat thin so I could hear if my neighbors were vacuuming early in the morning, etc. However, this has been my experience at most apartments. But for the most part it was a very quiet complex and I would recommend it.

I have been a resident here for some time, and in my time here, I have received comply or vacate notices for the same faults or rules consistently broken by other residents.There are 'allegedly' strict leash rules- or at least for my dogs there was; yet individuals night or day winter or summer have their dogs roaming free around the development without any reprimanding from the management. Various cars have been broken into, there is a patrol that uselessly trolls the parking lot in an easily spotted car at the most predictable of hours and the office remains above any responsibility for the crimes committed; they are as unaccountable as they are professional. On multiple occasions, the office as shown their true colors. A parade of masks. On one particular incident a residents dogs had burst out of their apartment and in my free time as a good standing resident I stopped and offered my assistance alerting the office and lending a helping hand. Instead of a thank you I was greeted with nothing but unappreciative and an overall disdainful tone. If I could give this complex half a star for their staff alone I would. They suck and until they hire a new property manager with a better aptitude for people and professionalism they will never fix the issues in place. This development is lots of talk and little action unless against the residents themselves. As renters and tenants we are all held accountable for our actions; I find it incredibly hypocritical that the office isn't upheld under the same standards.
This place now with new management is a poor choice, if I had known management would be switching so soon when I moved in I wouldn't have moved in here. If you have had negative experiences with a previous devious apartment complex, prepare for another. I moved in with a previous manager who stated that I could have two vehicles on the premises. She knew that one of them was a Jeep Wrangler, that was used solely as a utility vehicle never to operate on a public highway. Then management changed and now I've been told that my Jeep will be moved on a regular basis from it's spot, and have current tags stating they would be, "cited by the police department," if it didn't. After calling their bluff and discussing this issue with the Spokane Sheriff's department, they informed me that I didn't need any tags if the vehicle was stored on private property and wouldn't be operated on a public highway. They referenced RCW 46.016A.030 to prove a citation or impound would be for cars parked on a street with expired tags etc. not private property. After bringing this new information to the apartment complex manager, they immediately rescinded they're false accusations that it was the Police Department that was to blame. Instead she countered with do it because it's our policy and if you have any quarrel with it I'll give you the email to my attorney, and finished with so move your car jeep around and get updated tags or we'll have it towed. So with that being said, take the extra couple minutes and look at another apartment in the area, that doesn't offer you any false promises.
Awesome apartment complex. The office ladies are so easy going and great to work with. They are helpful and you can tell that you are put first and a priority to them. The atmosphere is quiet, calm, and beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a better place to live. They worked with us and our pet deposit. We would recommend this place to any and everyone. Good luck trying to find a better apartment complex anywhere in Spokane!
Canyon Bluffs are bluffing when they say they are a great apartment. They are overpriced and once you move in everything falls apart. My dryer hose disconnected and in the lease agreement you are not allowed to try and fix anything so naturally I called them to come and fix it and they threatened to charge me over $200 just to reconnect it. Almost monthly several cars are broken into and even full cars are stolen off the property. They refuse to do anything about it. The only good thing is they have a small dog park. Management is horrible. Don't move here.

Canyon Bluffs Apartments has a new Manager and Leasing agent. Dryer Hose's normally don't get disconnected regularly, Past manager maybe said it could be up to $200 to reconnect it if it wasn't an accident. I know maintenance is very good at coming within 24hrs to check on anything you need. We are very fast to making sure everything is working and in good condition for you to use it. The new manager and Leasing agent are quick to find a solution for issues that occur and are willing to fix it. We are very Glad you enjoyed the dog park! If in the future you would like to give us another try we would like that!
