Splashing to Success: Meet the Winners of the Apartments.com August Giveaway

Closing out the season, Apartments.com awarded 22 lucky winners with summer prizes to celebrate themselves and their residents. The Summer Splash giveaway ran throughout August. Twenty apartment communities across the country scored cash to throw a spectacular summer party, while two onsite staff members each won a dream getaway to Mexico.

A last hurrah for summer

Of the thousands of communities who entered the contest, 20 scored a summer extravaganza. These winners received a cool $1,500 in cash, along with seasonal swag, to throw their residents a summer bash:

Bienvenidos a Cancún

But that wasn’t the only summer fun. Two onsite staff members won the grand prize, a dream vacation to the tropics. The winners each received a luxury vacation to the resort town of Cancun, Mexico.

Stephanie Barbieri of Brookview Village was one of the lucky winners. The community manager from Greenfield Center, New York, scored an all-inclusive vacation package for herself and a guest.

The other grand-prize winner to receive a vacation package for two was Derrick Scott, a property manager for The Landry in Arlington, Texas.
