To celebrate the multifamily industry, Apartments.com awarded prizes to eight industry professionals across the country. From $1,000 to $100,000, the prizes honored property managers, leasing agents, and marketing managers from coast to coast.
Although the biggest prize went to one lucky attendee of NAA Apartmentalize, apartment owners and operators who couldn’t attend the conference were still able to join in on the excitement.
A cool grand
For those who couldn’t make it to Philadelphia for the biggest multifamily event of the year, we selected five first-prize winners to receive a thousand dollars each. The recipients ranged from Washington to North Carolina, representing communities across the nation. Check out the full list:

If I had $10,000…
That wasn’t all. One lucky property manager in Broomfield, Colorado won the grand prize, among over a thousand people who met with an Apartments.com sales associate as part of the June giveaway. Patrick Cox of Marquis at Town Centre scored $10,000.
A dream vacation
If at first you don’t succeed… try, try again. It pays to consistently enter the Apartments.com monthly giveaways.
After entering the contests for April, May, and June, one lucky community manager was selected as our Q2 grand prize winner. Katie Burleson of Arbors at the Reservoir in Ridgeland, Mississippi earned a dream getaway. The vacation package for two includes accommodation, airfare, and an extra $1,000 in cash.
The ultimate prize
Raising the stakes, our giveaway at the Apartmentalize conference awarded one lucky winner a whopping $100,000.
That six-figure cash prize went to Gerry Jackson, a senior property manager from Berkshire in Washington, D.C.
Joining Jeff Goldblum on stage, Gerry Jackson could hardly believe he had won. The actor — best known to the apartment world as Brad Bellflower — hugged and congratulated him.
What would you do with $100,000?
Gerry Jackson wasn’t the first person to win a hundred grand from Apartments.com at Apartmentalize. Last year, Michelle Kingson, then a property manager at Pegasus Residential, received the grand prize.
