How does this directory help renters find me?
Almost nine in 10 renters say it’s important to know the name of the property management company (PMC) that manages the apartment community they’re considering in their rental search, according to a new survey from Apartments.com. And a third of renters describe this information as “extremely important” in their search.
To support this demand, the new directory helps renters see where their favorite property management companies operate and provides direct links to these communities’ listings on Apartments.com. Each property management company with at least 10 communities advertised on Apartments.com has its own PMC brand page, which provides an overview of the company’s multifamily portfolio.
How could this help you? Let’s say you have a current resident in one of your communities in Colorado. This resident is looking to move to Florida and wants to stay with your brand. Your resident can browse the list of communities your company operates, or browse the map to see where they’re located.
Your company’s brand page includes:

At the same time, the directory also helps educate renters who haven’t selected a property management company yet.
