Nestled alongside the Skagit River, Burlington exudes a small-town atmosphere about midway between Seattle and the Canadian border. Burlington boasts a historic downtown area along Fairhaven Avenue, with a slew of specialty shops, offices, and cafes in old-fashioned buildings.
Burlington also contains retail destinations like Cascade Mall and the Outlet Shoppes at Burlington, which offer plenty of brand-name retailers and eateries to choose from. Burlington’s natural beauty is pervasive, from its lush tree-lined avenues to its sweeping vistas of the Cascade Mountains. The town is within minutes of popular outdoor venues such as Tulip Town and Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Direct access to I-5 connects Burlington to Bellingham, Everett, Seattle, and beyond.

Property Ratings at Heritage Place Apartments
I have lived here for about 4 months now and love it! The apartment is really nice and office staff are friendly and quick to help out. I can’t wait for summer and for the pool to open!
I’ve lived here for about 6 months. They have hired new management recently within the past two months. So far I haven’t had any issues. I can barely here the I5 traffic right next door. They seem to want everyone’s input to help make the place better. From what I understand the management has been very poor prior to the new management so I’m excited to see it keep improving. I’d highly recommend these apartments.
(PLEASE READ BEFORE RENTING FROM THIS PLACE) I'm so glad I moved out. Maintenance takes about 3 months to change a light fixture. We had our carpet pulling out from a transition strip that goes into the kitchen and Maintenance came in to fix it but did a poor job, they put a transition strip on top of a transition strip and it was like 2 and a half inches tall and ready for somebody to get hurt so I fixed it the right way and took me 3 min to fix I'm a general contractor so I know how to fix problems the right way. Then they charge you for normal wear and tear on your door lock so if it breaks or stops locking they will charge you for your security. Also they need to replace lighting for outside and fix their fencing problems because my vehicle has been damaged by a person that took gas from my vehicles and I told them to get security cameras and more lighting because you have prowler issue here and this is what they said " I'll talk with corporate but it won't be right away" and if you have issues with your place you better go in person because they will not answer your phone calls they always look at the caller I.d and ignore your calls. And then we had a leak on the back window and we request maintenance to come fix it becuase we put a bowl on the window ceal and it fills up water and tell this day it never been fixed. They said that the roofers did a mistake but they never roofer the building I was living in. I DONT RECOMMEND HERITAGE PLACE I LIVED THERE FOR 5 YEARS AND KNOW ENOUGH TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE, AS MUCH RENTERS ARE PAYING FOR THAT PLACE SHOULD BE TREATED CORRECTLY BUT THEY DONT, ALL THEY WANT IS THERE MONEY FOR RENT AND NOT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THERE BUILDING.
Got charged $35 so they could print out a paper saying I need to get rid of my “aggressive parasite ridden dog” because I said she isn’t always happy when strangers enter my house without me home so they could fix my 20 year old leaking washing machine.
I live here and this apartment is about almost 30 years old and things broken all the time. I called for help when the toilet leaked and water is all over but the guy Jason answered the phone kind of rude. I said i did not have any pet and only my Dad was there help me since I was at work. And this guy talked in a way uncivilized person could speak ....I don't want to give out a detail but it was mean conversation I'll move out as soon as my lease ended
A Dead Honest Review. Originally from Marysville I was in need of locating a place close to my job in Everett but with a close proximity to my wife’s job in Bellingham. We decided to temporarily settle the family out at Heritage Place Apartments without really knowing the area but just knowing that it was conveniently located next to the I5 freeway. Neighborhood: At first I was a little skeptical of the neighborhood; I can verify and confirm that there are several low income housing units in the surrounding area. It’s not a great neighborhood but it’s not terrible either. It’s the type of neighborhood where you need to use common sense (Lock your cars and valuables, lock your windows). Shopping centers and Cascade Mall is conveniently located nearby within 0.5 miles. Overall people in the Burlington are very nice. Do keep a look out nearby Sedro Woolley and East Burlington does have a reputation of gang activity. Overall: Great place to live if you’re starting off or if you’re temporarily staying there. Pros: - Friendly front office staff. (3/5 rating) - Conveniently located next to the freeway and shopping centers. - Includes washer and dryer. - Pet friendly - Kid friendly playgrounds Cons: - If you live on the bottom floor the squeaky floors and loud water pipes will disturb your sleep especially in the mornings or morning weekends I guarantee it. - Not enough lighting in the parking lot area at night. - Overpriced for what you get. (Easy wear and tear appliances. In renovated rooms they used a lot of cheap materials, most likely to save cost) - Area and gym is not well maintained. (Several gym equipment is not working, hot tub has not been repaired for over 2 years, not enough recycling bins located in the area) - Parking is limited. - Maintenance will conduct more than the average inspections throughout the year. (They usually leave you a date notice at your door without requesting permission) - Loud train passing by in the middle of the night - With close proximity to farmhouses, cluster flies are a problem in early spring and late fall which is a nuisance.
This place is nice and one odd the better places to rent for a decent price Pros: Pool Gym Clubhouse Washer and dryer in each unit Quiet Park-like settings Cons Older buildings - floors tend to creak Downstairs units can hear water flowing from upstairs
