The Westerly

Where do I start? -Locking residents out their respective building without proper advanced notification? -Year old maintenance requests? -Cars getting broken into? -Front & back gate consistently broken? -Gate access box being changed without notice to a completely different system? -Less than 8 year old complex with roach/gnat/fly infestation? -Inoperable dedicated trash chutes? Trash rooms overflowing? -Trash dumpsters blocking visitor parking THEN imposing a new visitor parking system where you have to obtain a permit to park in visitor parking... THATS BLOCKED! I know this complex looks amazing in passing & the lobby looks immaculate but thats not the complete experience. There's been about 5 mgmt changes. That's NEVER a good sign ANYwhere. This is a semi-last resort place you should apply too, only if you live somewhere worse should you apply here.

I don't typically write reviews but this needed doing. Terrible apartment complex - one of the worst I have ever lived in. Even worst management. Definitely not "Luxury Living" The place is roach, ant and many other bugs infested. Pest control has been here a billion times to no effect. Apartment management does not have a regular schedule to replace the air filters. Maintenance is terrible - I have been waiting for my dryer to get fixed now for 3 weeks. They have "fixed" it twice and it still has the same issue. The issue didn't even go away for one second. Why would you close a work order when the issue is not fixed. And they have done this twice. And every time for 3 weeks I keep getting told that they have other work orders open. Understandable but it should not take 3 weeks to get a dryer fixed. It gets difficult to go for 3 weeks without doing laundry. The hall ways are an absolute atrocity. They only clean the first floor, if you do a tour, just ask to visit the second floor or higher - you will be appalled. The parking situation is another nightmare. They will tow your car even though it is registered in the system. They also have very limited guest parking. Gets filled up in a hurry. The sad thing is that this place has so much potential. But they continue to fall flat on their face. With all the options that exist in Houston, I wouldn't touch this place with a 90ft pole.

the upkeep of the outside of the apartments is HORRIBLE and the roaches are a serious problem in the building that keeps getting overlooked. the pets and their poop and pee have taken over the aesthetic and overall its really nasty in all of the halls especially the carpets. with a good deep cleaning and better maintenance it could be better but right now i would not recommend

DON’T move here. I got bit by an unleashed dog in the HALLWAY. There were two dogs that were not on leashes in the hallway and they both ran towards me as I walked and one of them bit me on my leg. I went to the hospital to get a shot and medicine. The apartment is super UNPROFESSIONAL. My lawyer has reached out multiple times and they keep lying saying that haven’t gotten our letter. I guess to not make them look bad. They are no help, rude, and clearly don’t care about guest or tenants. If i could i would’ve posted the pictures

The Westerly is beautiful so far, the people are very friendly and respectful. Parking isnt an issue which is a plus. && the amenities are amazing.

Great community, amazing amenities. Main issue with this community is parking. only 10 parking spots for overnight guests and limited resident parking.

Choosing to live at The Westerly was one of the best choices Ive made. It is an awesome living experience. The apartment is very spacious. It is quiet community and the tenants are respectful of others. It is a very well managed community.

The Westerly has been a nice change from the blaring sounds and loud neighbors of the city. Though most of the apartments are one bedrooms, the two bedrooms are quite spacious and accommodating for two roommates or an office setting. The balconies are huge and the courtyards have been nice and quiet even when people are present.

The Westerly is amazing! I love the atmosphere and the staff is kind and on top of everything.

First impressions, professional, friendly, kind, beautiful property, clean, amenities, etc., over-all hands down the best apartment searching selection we've ever experienced. This was a one stop shop for us we didn't need to look any further. This is/was the only choice for us, no need to keep looking! Thank You Westerly Team!

I love living at The Westerly. The staff is professional and courteous and the grounds are kept very neat.

What don't I love about the Westerly? The leasing team is wonderful, the amenities are great, the location is ideal being that it seems as if it is in the center of everything, the grounds are maintained well, and the property is great! I moved here in August, and I'm glad I chose the Westerly as my new home! I've been thoroughly impressed and enjoying my living space!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and on top of maintenance. Impressive amenities, love the 24/7 hour rule for indoor amenities. Quiet. Nice appliances. Spacious hallways. Lots of storage space.

Moving from Dallas to Houston we wanted to find a place that was beautiful on the outside just as much as it was beautiful on the inside, in a centrally located area. We have found that here at the Westerly.

The Westerly has hands down been the best apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. The first thing I want to talk about is the management/office team because I almost never write reviews but I absolutely had to write about them. 10000/10. Seriously they are amazing. Brittany, the manager is phenomenal. She moved me in and we had a very brief conversation about me being a teacher. I saw her a few months later and she remembered that I was a teacher from our move in conversation and asked me how teaching was going. I was honestly shocked because there are a lot of residents living here. But this is just one example of the way her attention to detail contributes to this complex being run so beautifully. Currently during the freeze, my breaker went out and I have lost power to my apartment longer than the rest of the complex. Brittany has literally gone past above and beyond during this situation. From offering compensation, to offering to put me in a hotel, offering the model unit for me to stay warm, calling to check in and even going out in the middle of the night in 9 degree weather to flip my breaker for me. I mean I honestly don’t have words. I’ve never met an apartment manager who went above and beyond like this especially outside of office hours. I’m also working with Eva and Alma currently to move apartments within the complex because I need more space and they have been amazing. There’s like 20+ more examples I could give about this office staff but it would be a novel. I’ve had several experiences with the maintenance staff as well. Amazing. My garage lost power and my door wouldn’t open. One of the maintenance staff drove 30 minutes out at 8pm on a Friday night to come open my garage. During the freeze another maintenance person drove out in the snow/ice to flip my breaker, turned around and drove back when it stopped working again and stayed on site just to make sure it continued to work. Again, I have several more examples but I think y’all get it. Their level of service is unparalleled. One of the most important aspects to me with apartment living is that they are quiet. The Westerly definitely delivers, in fact, my guests ALWAYS comment on how quiet it is. It’s also very safe. Another thing I love is that there is a call box at the front door(not just the gate like most complexes) for you to buzz in food delivery services/guests so you never have to walk down. Another amenity I love is they deliver all packages straight to your door!

This complex is a refreshing and incredible to live in.

Very good location in a quiet area but close to freeway access and entertainment areas.

The Westerly is a great place to call home! I knew from the moment I stepped in the door for a tour that this was where I wanted to live. The management staff are very professional and friendly. The apartment floorplan is spacious and the amenities are great. Come check it out!

I absolutely love my new home! I relocated here two and a half weeks ago from the Arkansas/Memphis, Tennessee area, and I couldn't have made a better decision than to make the Westerly my new home. The complex is new, so the amenities, location, and everything in between is just an added bonus. Brittany, the property manager, is a jewel! From Day One, she's been nothing but helpful and a ball of energy! Everything was seamless, and I'm enjoying this place I'm fortunate enough to call home, now!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with the Westerly and the staff. Liz is super awesome and made me feel so welcomed as well as all the girls in the office. I enjoy coming home it's the best place for me and my family.
