Parker Lane is the ideal suburb with commuters. Not only is the neighborhood bounded by Interstate 35 and Highway 71, but the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is five miles east, and Downtown Austin is five miles north. Whether you’re traveling into the city for work or play, or you’re planning some travel by air, Parker Lane is a premier place to put down roots.
If a quiet, affordable neighborhood is what you’re after, then look no further. Parker Lane is located directly east of Saint Edward’s University, and houses the Mabel Davis District Park, a sprawling area that’s home to one of Austin’s two skate parks, covering 12,000 square feet. Enjoy the park’s swimming pool, walking trails, basketball courts, and more!
Though the neighborhood is mainly residential, residents enjoy the variety of restaurants along Oltorf Street, along with the public bus stops, making getting around the area that much more convenient.

Property Ratings at Whisper Hollow
The team here is very kind and helpful. Answered all of my questions with knowledge and understanding. Alexandra gave me an excellent tour of available units, and amenities. Took care of a small issue in my apartment with no problem at all. The sign up process was simple and Straightboard. Realy love the fact that is close to the airport and Grocery stores. Im very pleased with the price and the unit i selected.
apartments aren't well maintained and will not fix the maintenance request provided!

We're sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to maintain our apartments to the highest standards and address all maintenance requests promptly. Your feedback is valuable and will be used to improve our services. Thank you.
This evil corporation has a book of lies that they will tell you to get you to rent. After you sign the lease, your trouble begins. Your apartment will fall apart and roaches will appear EVERYWHERE. Management will take advantage of you at every turn and you will be miserable here. This company hires reviewers to give positive reviews of them. No sane person would write a positive review of this awful apartment complex.
Don't move here, it's not worth it... it's without a doubt the worst place I've ever lived. You'll be living with german cockroaches 24/7--in your kitchen and bathroom cabinets, on your walls, and just about everywhere else. The place is infested, there's no getting rid of them. I hired a professional exterminator and that honestly did NOTHING. As far as I know there are about 4 total people that work for the complex, so don't expect anything to be done properly or on time. Don't expect them to be pleasant either. You should probably just plan to do most of your home repairs yourself. Also, I once found a fast food condiment package in the pool, so that was fun. The park across the street is great and that's the nicest thing I can think to say of this complex.
This place is absolutely disgusting. There are roaches crawling all over the walls, bathroom, closest, nightstand, counters, tables, ceilings, and stove at all times! I don't have pets or kids. I live alone in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. I have contacted management about the issue several times but they do not care. I pay my rent in advance evety month and I'm still neglected whenever I request for maintenance. Please don't move here. Even the pest control worker told me to move out. You would do much better absolutely anywhere else.
They are working on the landscaping but there are a lot of other things that need help before that's done. The apartments are old and appliances are not updated. My carpet is stained and torn (it was like that when I moved in). No matter how much I clean, it always looks dirty. I have a pit bull, so it's nice there are no breed restrictions, but let's just say I'm really happy he's a scary looking dog (he's really friendly) when I have to walk him after dark. The only upside is that it's ridiculously cheap.
The Good: the staff is super friendly. Especially Chris! The location is great because it's like 5mins away from downtown. The bad: maintenance will come while your not home, which is fine but they are supposed to leave a note. We had to tell the office 3 times before someone fixed our wobbly toilet. We still have problems in our unit that have yet to be fixed. THE UGLY: we constantly clean, and set up traps but we still have roaches. They bombed the apartment but we still have them. It would also be nice to swim in a pool that was clean. It's so foggy that I can't even see my feet in 2 ft of water. Overall the place is over priced for how small and run down it is. If living here wasn't our only option, we would have never signed the lease .
This place is an older complex, mid '80s build. That said, it is pretty rock solid. The complex itself is laid out pretty awesomely with lost of green space for dogs - they even have pet waste stations set up all over the property! Pool is kind of small but charming in that 80s sort of way and the staff are super nice. Maintenance requests are pretty quick, but I wouldn't call them immediate. And Google Fiber is on the way - ten bucks signed me up for 5 Megabits for as long as I live there - and I plan to be there a while.
We love whisper hollow! The apartment is clean and cozy. The staff is so great. We had to change our move in date, they were very understanding. We don't have stellar credit, they worked with us on that as well. The grounds are well kept and clean, they have a nice pool with palm trees surrounding it and a tennis court. We are happy to call this our home!
