Virtual 3D virtual tours for renters
Guide your prospective new resident through these simple steps to experience a virtual tour of your community:
- Have them visit Apartments.com.
Have them type your community name in the search bar.
- Now they see your community’s property page with everything they need to see and know about you
Start with a 3D Tour:
- Click the image with circle on it
- Offer to show them a unit, one that fits best with their bed/bath needs
- Ask them to click the Play button, and then click the ‘FullScreen’ button to see the full impact of this tour
- Have them use their mouse to guide themselves around the apartment and click if they want to zoom in closer
They can also see different views of this tour such as “Dollhouse” and “Floorplan” by clicking on the icons on the lower left of their screen. Have them use their mouse to guide themselves around the apartment and click if they want to zoom in closer
Now view a High Definition video (if relevant) and photos of your community.
- If they’re currently in a Fullscreen 3D Tour, click the Escape button and then click on the “x” next to Gallery at the top right of the page
- Find the large image on the left and click on the circle to see a beautiful video of your units, amenities, neighborhood, and more
- Click the “x” next to Gallery to exit the video and return to the community property page.
Now click on one of the photos on the right of the photo gallery, which takes them to all the photos of your community. Scroll through your photos with the left and right arrows
- Share information about your community using your Property Description
- Exit the photo gallery by clicking the “x” next to Gallery to return to the community property page.
Scroll down to check out your community description and wide range of amenities (ask about and speak to what’s most relevant to them).
Keep scrolling down for information about your renter ratings and reviews.
- Share information about your local area using your Local Guide and Points of Interest.
Keep scrolling down to see your walk score, points of interest and transit.
To learn more about your great city, click on the green Learn More About (e.g., Boston) in the City section.
- If they’d like to see more about your community, they may visit your website by clicking on the View Property Website button near the top right of your community property page.
